What is your vaccination policy for 2021?

We are requiring everyone who attends an in-person seminar to be vaccinated.  Other options include online seminars on December 8th and December 14th, or a video-recording available in mid-November.

I attended one of Kathleen Odean’s previous “The Best New Young Adult Books.” Does this year’s seminar cover new books?

Yes, Kathleen will introduce new books, published in 2020.

Can I earn professional development credit for attending TTL Seminars?

Yes. For Massachusetts, contact hours verification are available. For New Hampshire, clock hours verification is available. For Rhode Island, contact hours are available. For ME, contact hours are available. For VT, inservice credit is available with prior district approval. For CT, CEUs are available.

What are the seminar hours?

The in-person seminars are from 8:30 – 3:15.  Registration starts at 8:00.  Lunch is from 11:45 – 1:00.

The online seminars are from 8:30 – 2:30.  They are open for logging in at 8:15.  Lunch is from 11:45 – 12:15.

What if I haven’t received my email confirmation?

Sometimes email from a seminar company is blocked by a filter. First, check your blocked email to see if the confirmation is there. If not, please email us at and we will send a second confirmation.

Can I send a colleague in my place?

Yes. Please email us at with your name and the name of the person who will be taking your place.

What should I do if I forgot to pick-up my certificate at the seminar and I need it?

Please send a replacement request to with your name, school information and contact information.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We will make every effort to hold the seminar. If you are in doubt, please call the seminar hotel the morning of the seminar. They will know if the seminar will be held that day.
